when you care to care.
dont expect that person to be grateful.
there isnt a label to announce 'wash with care'
not this time.

remember when you were a little child,
and your mum kidtoy-napped your favourite toy (or blanket),
threw it in the horror machine
for our own good.
(if you dont recall, i do.)

wescreamed and kicked, perhaphs.
and cried fruitless tears.
sratched and swiped with angry claws.
mindless of everything save teddy's safety.

(doesnt it seem weird.
god wants to wash us clean from sin.
wants so so badly, so much,
to the point of death.
yet we scream and kick and pull away.
we dont know whats good for us.
oui?
we dont.
god knows better.
he always does.)

arent we still like that today?
sitting infront of the washing-horror-machine
have we not grown up, opened our eyes?
waiting for it to stop.
maybe not.

when you comfort someone, when you care.
dont expect a sprinkle of fairy dust in thanksgiving.
when you're pushed away, badly scratched;
dont feel resentful or hurt.

he doesnt know where to look,
cant see clearly.

therefore, dont blame him.
just sprinkle more concern, and spoonfuls of prayer.
ha.

dont be discouraged, and dont stop caring.
cause the world needs more people to continue caring,
and less people to stop.

you can do so much good,
as long as you keep going.

do you see my point?
