I'm supposed to be intellectual now and give some nice, politically correct, intellectual blogpost on my take of the seminar? hahahaa.The Pre-U seminar, which started in the year 1970, is an invitation to youths to engage in the political, social and economic issues that form the framework of our society. It reflects the growing process of a young nation as it seeks to establish a firm foothold in a fast changing world. The Pre-U seminar continues to be a relevant channel of communication between leaders who shape the future of Singapore and our youths, who will in time shape the future.taken word for word from the official website. the seminar fulfilled this paragraph damn well. 'nuff said. (:
loads of points of laughter (since that's the only things i can remember, i might as well talk about that. heh.) like when an RJC girl ask Minster Balakrishnan for more sexual freedom. and when another participant challenged singapore's politicians and asked 'Uncle Bala' (affectionately termed by our SLO, Terrance...) why Sgp 's election rallies didn't have electrifying speeches and Uncle Bala ended his reply with
'Look into my eyes, and see my heart.'
He's super charming!and then there were presentations and panel discussions and film discussions! the flim we watched was Joni's Promise, and it was an honest, honestly good, show. (: i double heart shows that are super honest and true to reality and the not so pretty circumstances. and i triple heart shows that make you laugh and groan out loud. ^^
Supposedly, the future of Singapore was at this Seminar.

Pre u sem ended on friday, and i had debate training today. so i woke up at 3am and forced myself up to read the history ntoes and dumdeedum, i ended up being the one who read the most. hahahaha. i feel so cheated when i found out i dont actually have to read everything! T_T and even tho i read so much, i still can't grasp all the underlysing issues of the conflict. T_T
but still, the point is i am damn damn damn hardworking (sometimes!) because i simply dont feel good letting a team i'm in down! ((((: *happy*
and i watched Bridge to Terabithia which i have been hankering to watch sicne yujia told me about it. but the VCD rental shop near my place doesnt have it. and finally!
and I cried and cried and cried my eyes out. it is a damnnn good show and i felt like i lost my childhood and any creativity and imagination and imaginative spirit i had for good.
and i actually think the little girl is really really pretty! and i kept hoping that she would pop up like nothing happened and everything would be right in the world.
and then i watched
Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children,
all on Ian's iPod which i borrowed....
:D yum.
cloud, is, freaking, hwat. :D
(cloud is actually quite a gay name, but he's so cool,
he pulls it off with no problem at all. :D)
i wanted to build a theme park out of nothing.
because veeryone needs a palce to be a child.
