2007's gone, 2008 has been here for a week. and being the procrastinator i am, i haven't even started writing my last post of the year/ new year's post. which usually, is dedicated to thanking various people in my life. sigh, i'm late. again.

i'm not very good with reflective posts. like 'I'm leaving sc and i don't want to because...'. or the whole 'I've have a great/bad/depressing/wonderful/beautiful 2007 and it's because...' kinda thing. partly because it's difficult to transfer emotion onto paper in ink (or on screen through the keyboard). partly because i feel the need to walk the balance between honesty and keeping certain things personal.

so. here it goes.

looking back, the highlight of 2007 was my O levels. it feels like a dream now. but to all my juniors in SC who are facing those exams this year, do your best, and stick closer to God than ever.

i say this because 'O levels feels like a dream'. and for me, it wasn't a bad dream because that period of time was the first time i felt God's presence so clearly beside me in the exam hall, for every single paper i sat for.

and then exams were over before i knew it. and this time, when i watched countdown at home. i didn't feel a rising panic in me. it's usually a tradition for me to think back, and feel that i wasted a year's worth of time. but not this time. and that's something i'm grateful and thankful for.

so many times this year, God has been faithful, almighty and simply awesome to us. My God is REAL.

as i already said in my Christmas card to you, even tho i havent known you for a long period of time, i feel as if you're my best friend already. you're always making me laugh and cheering me up, saying the right things and making me feel better, forcing me to look on the bright side. thank you for everything that you've done for me. stay strong okay? i know it's hard but then, there'll always be ME :D to cheer you on!

but seriously, thank you for 2007. i've learnt alot from your example. (: oh and, thank you for letting me be nonsensical and crazy and putting up with all of it. hopefully we'll grow closer as friends, yeah? thank you for praying for me and my leg. thank you for your encouragement, esp during this orientation in AC. (: hehe.

but i'm never, ever going to leave you guys behind and say bye. i'm never going to forget the memories we share. (okay, i probably will but that's where 'get together-s' come in and we all jolt each other's memory and laugh about the GOOD OLD DAYS.)






hahhaa. everybody knows that my boyfriend is actually a girl now. :/ lol. but everything i want to say, to thank you for.. all those memories we share and all the laughter, tears we shared.. it's wayyyy too difficult to compile them into this one shoutout. esp all those wacky fun memories. hahahaa. when i take a breather from life, sit back and think... i'll soon burst out into laughter just remembering everything. ((((((:

i love you. i dont know how to prove it and it's a good thing i don't need to prove it.
AND if you need reassurance, remember this: THE ONE PERSON I WANT TO BE STUCK ON A DESERTED ISLAND WITH IS YOU. yes you and (almost) no one else. :D
